Tecumseh 10HP Snow King Starter
My Tecumseh 10HP Snow King snowblower is easily over 10 years old - I bought it used. My electric starter started sporadically working and just quit about a month ago. Ordered the replacement starter from DB and I received within days. Installed it yesterday and it works great. It sounds a little different than the OEM. The only problem I had was with the bottom two bolts that hold the starter onto the engine. My OEM starter's bolts were 3/8 while the ones that came with the replacement were 13/32. I re-used the OEM bolts since I did not have an open wrench in the 13/32 size. Yes you may be able to use a socket wrench on the bolts but that is where my other related problem with the bolts and the replacement starter occurred - the bracket on the starter for bolting at the bottom does not seem to have enough clearance for my sockets.
