Could not have removed my t-bars without this tool
Worked as promised and really took a beating from me as I reinstalled the t-bars on my 2004 Durango. A lot of turns with a large "cheater bar" to get them back up to the factory setting, but the tool held up nicely. I'd give it 5 stars but as my crossmember is rounded the tool wouldn't stay perfectly "square" with the dimple in the t-bar, and the slight angle of misalignment made it more difficult to reinstall the t-bar. My arms were really sore the next day- lol! But again, the tool delivered. It is a universal tool so it may work a little better on other applications. Use a lot of oil on the threads as the heat created is quite surprising. Would recommend the tool highly and it is a LOT cheaper than the one used by the auto dealership. As a side point, some say you can use a Large C-clamp instead of this removal tool. I would pay to see a video of that! It may relieve the tension during removal but I would find it impossible to create the torque needed to reinstall...
